Many families give the father or another guardian as the contact person, so the first conversation happens between families. Some also add a line about religious practice or about how the family prefers the next step to happen. Use “+ Add a line” for anything that matters to you.
Choosing the top of the page
The first line is Bismillah in Arabic script. Families across India also use “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” written in English, or “786”. Pick whichever your family uses, and choose the crescent and star or no symbol.
Design and photo
The Emerald design is selected to start with. All eight designs work with this format. Adding a photo is optional; some families prefer to share it only after the first conversation.
Questions people ask
Can I change the Bismillah line?
Yes. It starts as بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم in Arabic. You can type “Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem” in English, “786”, or any other line, or clear it to leave the top empty.
Can I write the biodata in Hindi?
Yes. Choose Hindi at the top and the labels change, including मसलक and बिरादरी. Urdu labels are not available yet, but you can type your details in any script.
Do I have to fill in sect or biradari?
No. Every line is optional. Empty lines are left out of the biodata, and you can remove or rename any line.
